Old School MMORPG

While EverQuest isn't the oldest it is still one of the best MMORPGs today. Came out March 16th, 1999 and quickly became the king for a number of years.

Pretty much every MMO that came out after that was an EQ clone. Everyone wanted to copy the best but really none came close till World of Warcraft was released in 2004.

EQ has had as of now 24 expansion packs and tons of updates to the game. They've added things such as new zones, monsters, quests and even new races and classes to play over the years.

It is a bit of a dated game but still very much worth checking out. Not much to lose considering it is Free-to-Play (have to buy the newest expansion if you want that). Plus, there is an option to pay a monthly fee of $14.99 for all features. You will get things such as an extra 6 character slots, 10% off the Marketplace, 500 Daybreak Cash each month. Also, this $14.99 also includes Daybreaks other games DC Universe Online, Planetside 2, and of course, EverQuest 2. So it's not just $14.99 for one game but for a total of 4 different games. You only get one 500 Daybreak Cash for free a month tho for the $14.99 subscription fee.

So do yourself a favor and check EverQuest out!
