A really fun arcade-style driving game

There's a lot to like about this game - the graphics are top notch, the car models are really detailed, and the races and race types are a good challenge.

The controls take time to get used to, and I've seen complaints from other players of this game about that - but hours and hours into it, I have full control of my cars and know the nuances of all of them, and I'm getting really into the wrap editor, creating authentic looking rally-style wraps for all my cars.

The selection of cars is good, too, though some of them are not as customisable as you'd expect (mainly the more recent models). The 'classic' drift cars have most of the mods you'd hope for, and the detail level is high.

The challenges are varied, some quite difficult and there can be a steep learning curve and some frustration with traffic and the crash 'cut scenes' in the middle of races, which can sometimes boil down to good luck as well as skill.

There are no micro transactions to worry about, all in game currency is earned in the game, and overall I've personally gotten my money's worth as far as time spent playing.

One of the best racing simulators.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, the way the cars felt while driving.
Awesome graphics, detailed customization on the cars and extensive tuning
made available on this installment of the franchise. Looking forward to playing NFS:Payback!!!
