There aren't many MMORPG out there that have stood the test of time, and few seasoned developers try to get into the genre in the first place for a good reason. They have to be super large-scale, it's easy to get things horribly wrong, and supporting them takes a lot of effort. ESO is not perfect in that regard, but fares better than most of its competitors, and with its familiar fantasy-esque world sparks the imagination of all players. New content is still coming out, and the payment system is compatible with the lives of busy people. (No required monthly payments, as is the case for FF14.) I'd recommend it to MMORPG fans and Elder Scrolls fans alike.
