An excellent update of a beloved franchise

Although some might be disquieted to see the change from historical realism to a fantasy setting in the venerable Total War franchise, the updated mechanics and interesting lore of the Warhammer universe make this one a worthy successor.

Awesome Game

I've always been a huge fan of Total War games, but Total War: Warhammer is by far my favorite out of them all. They really perfected the gameplay over the years and it shows in this game. Creative Assembly beautifully has developed a spectacular game within the rich Warhammer table top universe.

It not warhammer (orcs offering my wood elves a truce is definitely not the kind of interaction you'd expect) but it's quite delightful to charge your knigts of the blazing sun into a host of chaos knights. The simulation is not realistic (by GW standards) but it offers a range of possibilities for different styles of play. Overall not a great game but one I do play regularly. Requires a good computer to run at a decent speed.
